Uncle Rob's Cuddle Time II

Uncle Rob and Alison came over to look after Robbie for a night so Margaret and Sean could go out on a date. Crowds, weather and illness all factored in making the night a bust for Margaret and Sean, but the two Robs and Alison had a great time.

Margaret swore that having a child would mean the end of a tradition she and Sean had of opening their gifts early. Oh well, maybe next year.

Friends Greg, Val and Rob (Anderson) came over to exchange gifts. All Robbie got was some wrapping paper, which seemed to suit him just fine.

First Time For Cereal

As Robbie has been slow to put on weight his pediatrician decided to start him on cereal earlier than would normally be suggested (particularily for a pre-me). Though intially interested, by the end of his first real meal, you could definately colour Robbie unimpressed.

At four and a half months Robbie weighed 12lbs and 9oz.

New Moms Group Last Day

For a couple of months Margaret and Robbie attended a group for new mom's and babies; they both made a few friends. Here is a picture from the last day. (Robbie is in the back, second from the left)

Sick of sharing little Robbie with everyone else uncle Rob came over so he could have little Robbie to himself for an hour.

Just shy of four months old Robbie weighed in at 11 lbs 13oz. His length was 23.5 inches.

The Crib II

As Sean was terrified of putting together something his son would be sleeping in (Sean has a long record of putting together furniture that isn't quite right), Margaret was forced to put it together. She, of course, did an excellent job.

Margaret took the poor lad to a chick flick, Elizabethtown. Notice the happy look on his face.

Robbie After a Bath

Known for being reckless, after giving Robbie baths Sean likes to swaddle the boy in a towel and feed him. Despite being sans diaper for as many as 30 minutes, Robbie has yet to show his father why this is not a good idea.

Just shortly after his blessing Robbie weighed in at 9lbs 8.75 oz. His length was 21.5 ".

Robbie needs some sleep after two months of hard work.

Gaining Weight III

Not so little Robbie weighed in today at 8 lbs 2oz. Interestingly that is exactly what his father weighed at birth (Robbie, of course, took 7 weeks and 3 days to reach this).

Put together mostly by Margaret, with a little help from Sean, Robbie's room is painted "tomboy blue". All around the room are letters and numbers, which in a few cases spell things out.
