When Sean was just a newborn his grandfather (Robbie's great grandfather), knit him the blanket seen here. With proper care, perhaps Robbie's son will be able to play on it some day.
Illness and conflicting schedules conspired to keep Sean, Margaret and Robbie from exchanging presents with Dave, Jo, and the boys. However, in late February they finally got together.
After more than 7 months of Margaret staying home with Robbie, she went back to work, and Sean took time off work to stay home with the boy. The first day of work for Margaret featured a teary goodbye.
For the past few weeks Robbie has been making sound that one could mistake for words. First he was saying "hi", then "dada" and most recently "ah". However, a lack of context means that they are likely just random sounds. Oh well, soon Robbie, soon.
It didn't take long after rolling back to front that Robbie found he could do the reverse. Though he's yet to discover that rolling is an effective way to get around.
